UNOFFICIAL STOCK DOSSIER / Q2 2026
$HIMS is the stock ticker for Hims & Hers. The “dick pill” nickname comes from the brand's famous erectile-dysfunction business—not from a pill that makes penises bigger.

THE 15-SECOND EXPLANATION
There is no security called “Dick Pill.” $HIMS is the NYSE ticker for Hims & Hers Health, Inc., a telehealth company. Men's sexual health helped make its brand recognizable, so traders gave the whole stock a crude, memorable nickname.
A consumer-health platform spanning sexual health, hair, weight, dermatology, mental health and more.
Hims made online access to clinician-evaluated sildenafil and tadalafil central to its early cultural identity.
Traders compressed one recognizable category into shorthand for the entire public company and its shares.
Prescription ED medicines treat erectile dysfunction; they are not penis-enlargement products. And $HIMS represents a diversified healthcare business—not a single pill, condom or meme.
THE THESIS IN ONE LINE
MEME DECODER / CLICK A FILE
BRAND DECODE / NOT AN OFFICIAL AD
The brand makes awkward health topics feel ordinary: direct language, little ceremony and a checkout-like path into care.
Cream, blush and restrained packaging lower the temperature. The site keeps that softness, then adds black-and-red market graphics so the analysis still has teeth.

$HIMS / THE ACTUAL FILE
Sexual health made the brand famous; weight loss and global expansion now move far more of the financial conversation. The Q2 numbers show fast top-line growth alongside weaker margins, losses and a live regulatory overhang.
ED and other sensitive conditions are awkward to discuss.
A provider reviews health information and decides on care.
A complex platform becomes one aggressively simple label.
THE INVESTMENT CASE / BOTH SIDES
Q2 2026 compared with Q2 2025.
$HIMS is a high-growth, high-expectation health-platform bet. The operating momentum is real; so is the deterioration in Q2 profitability and the regulatory uncertainty. The decisive questions are whether subscriber economics hold, margins recover after the weight-loss reset and international expansion creates durable—not merely acquired—growth.
DO NOT MIX THESE DRAWERS

Physical barrier products used for contraception and to help reduce transmission risk for many sexually transmitted infections. They are not ED medicine.

Sildenafil and tadalafil are prescription medicines. On the Hims platform, a licensed provider evaluates whether a prescription is appropriate.
Products sold as “natural” sexual enhancement supplements are a separate category. FDA warns that some contain hidden drug ingredients and may cause serious harm.
CONDOM ≠ PRESCRIPTION ≠ SUPPLEMENT ≠ SHARE CERTIFICATE
THE “GROW IT” INTERNET SPIRAL
The joke is the escalating desperation: tape measure, cursed DIY engineering, then the radical discovery that a licensed clinician is a better source than an anonymous forum.

PROP COMEDY, NOT A HOW-TO: no gadget, supplement or “hack” shown is presented as effective. FDA warns that some products marketed for sexual enhancement contain hidden drug ingredients.
WHAT THE STOCK ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT
Q2 ended with 2.891M subscribers, up 19%, while monthly revenue per average subscriber reached $92, up 21%. The next question is what retention and acquisition spend are required to sustain it.
Gross margin dropped 12 percentage points year over year to 64%, and adjusted EBITDA fell despite revenue growth. A bull thesis needs evidence that the reset and expansion costs normalize.
Hims announced a strategic shift in its U.S. weight-loss offer amid FDA scrutiny of compounded GLP-1 marketing. Separately, the FTC and state partners allege deceptive billing, cancellation and privacy practices; Hims disputes the allegations. These are live business risks, not footnote decoration.
Q2 rest-of-world revenue surged after acquisitions while U.S. revenue grew 16%. Investors should separate acquired scale from durable organic demand and watch integration execution.
Even excellent companies can be poor investments at the wrong price. Compare market value with credible revenue, margin and cash-flow scenarios instead of treating a memorable ticker as a recommendation.

BOTTOM LINE / NO CAPSULE REQUIRED
“Dick pill stock” is sticky shorthand. The bull case is growth, higher subscriber monetization and global scale. The bear case is margin pressure, legal and regulatory exposure, integration risk and a valuation that must be judged against high expectations. Keep the meme; do the diligence.
